It’s that time of the year!
I am really struggling not to give in, start with Christmas music, movies and decorating the tree because there is one thing left to celebrate before that.
Thanksgiving is here! We, grown ups, are excited about the food and Friday off (hope you will get that day to be home, eat leftover and maybe do some shopping), and kids can spend this next 2 weeks preparing for holiday by making crafts.
If you are having big family meal maybe some of these crafts can be used as name tags or as a perfect entry way decoration. Most of all, it can be great opportunity for you to teach your child about history of Thanksgiving and also to talk about all the things we are grateful for.
Check out this round up of 11 great crafts your child can do.

Such cute ideas – Love them all. Especially that bright popsicle stick turkey! You could really get creative with those!
I am a big fan of the handprint – especially if you make it a tradition to do every year – as well as the chain of thanks as it drives home that the holiday is not just about eating but about being cognizant of things we take for granted and being thankful for them
What a great roundup of kids projects!

Cute! I will admit that I’ve made my own hand turkeys, as an adult, with no children around at all.
Lol! I often find myself playing, coloring and watching cartoons more than kids do!
So much fun! I always love the handprint turkey. You can never go wrong with a classic that melts your heart 🙂
